Event Description

Elvia Perrin, Cassettee, 2016, printmaking, 27 X 21 inches

Mar 10, 2017 - Jul 16, 2017 Urschel Corridor Gallery | Urschel Building Free and open to the public Opening Reception: Fri, Mar 10, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Often creating finished prints or drawings that she then cuts up, reassembles, reorganizes and prints on top of, printmaker Elvia Perrin develops her works through a dialogue between an idea and making and a process of editing, overlapping, stacking, and layering of ink and images. The resulting finished works are a convergence of order and reordering and the revealing and veiling of organized systems through Perrin’s personal habits that portray an ultimate order and a quiet minimalist approach.
