He’s Ottmar Liebert, and if you haven’t heard his music, you ought to.<br /><br />Liebert’s road to success has been a winding one. One that started when he was just 19 and on a train.</p><p>“In Moscow I went on the Trans Siberian Train to then the East Coast of the then Soviet Union," he said. It's Hal Ketchum, and you've&nbsp; probably heard his biggest hit, "Small Town Saturday Night." That one song propelled Ketchum to instant stardom, but he got a late start on the whole showbiz thing.</p><p>“I was a 38-year-old cabinetmaker," he said. "To have a number one country record--I don’t think it had been done on that level before.”</p><p>The singer-songwriter has been plying his trade quite successfully, with 15 top ten hits since then. And it’s only the first in a run of special places coming up soon. That place is Mission Concepción.</p><p>“A lot of our music is <em>a capella,</em> so just being able to sing in a space that was basically built for music, and it's very similar to the churches and cathedrals we’ll be in in Europe,” said San Antonio Choral Society's Jennifer Seighman.</p><p>The show is Thursday at 7 p.m. and is free.
