All eyes are on a Travis County courtroom, as Texas Governor, Rick Perry, makes his first pre-trial court appearance. The Governor’s attorneys are attempting a number of legal maneuvers, hoping to have the criminal abuse of power charges against their client dropped.

Recent Rains have some of you thinking about fall in your garden and what you should do there. I've found a fascinating project that you didn’t even know you needed. It’s called a rain garden.

“A rain garden is a shallow depression that is placed in a position where it collects storm water runoff from areas where that runoff is concentrated; like rain gutters, or off a driveway, or a sidewalk.”

Lee Marlowe works with sustainable landscapes for the San Antonio River Authority.

“And you intercept that rain flow with a shallow depression.”

Holding your cell phone while driving will soon be a thing of the past in San Antonio. At Thursday's city council meeting, members voted unanimously to enact a hands-free only policy.

The new ordinance, which replaces previous ordinances which have banned texting while driving within the city limits, was proposed by District 10 Councilman Mike Gallagher.

“A texting driver is 23 times more likely to get into an accident," said Gallagher. "It’s those statistics that say what we’re doing here is very, very important.”

Attic Rep is bringing a classic, black comedy-drama, back to the Tobin Performing Arts Center’s Carlos Alvarez Theater. Its director Roberto Prestigiacomo told me more.

“Well the production is called ‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf,’ by Edward Albee. Virginia Woolf was a perfect feat for our second production at the Tobin.”

I asked why is a 50+ year-old play still relevant?
