  Bibliotech has expanded into four additional Bexar County school districts.

Bexar County Commissioners this week approved another wave of ereaders sent out into the community for students in the Edgewood, Somerset, San Antonio and Fort Sam Houston ISDs.

County Judge Nelson Wolff says this week’s donation of 150 ereaders brings the total number of the devices to 500 that have been committed to local school districts.

A local symphony has set a holiday-themed event for this weekend. They’re Seguin's Mid Texas Symphony.

Coming next summer to San Antonio: a new-look, new-feel arena that promises to give all those who enter a viewing experience they won’t forget. Welcome to the newly renovated AT&T Center, or, at least, welcome to the promise of it.

Bexar County Commissioners Tuesday authorized Spurs Sport & Entertainment to move forward on plans to design and build an enhanced arena, with county oversight.

Oil prices are down--way down--from their June peak. The release of the oil reserve figures last week from the U.S. Energy Information Agency, showed the country's reserves of 36 billion barrels in 2013, a 35 year high, 10 billion barrels more than just five years before. As global production remains strong, the glut of oil will remain, sending prices--and stocks--tumbling further.

“On Saturday, Dec. 13, we have a performance at the chapel at Oblate School of Theology, and on Sunday, Dec. 14, our premiere performance at the Alvarez Studio Theater at the Tobin Center.”
