Each year we say thank you to business, professional, and community partners that help bring public radio to San Antonio, Hill Country, Big Country, Highland Lakes, Gonzales, Del Rio, and surrounding areas.
If you are a current TPR business or nonprofit supporter please click here to RSVP for you and your guest. If you are not a current supporter and would like to join us, please contact Kellie@tpr.org to learn more about underwriting and sponsorship opportunities.
This year's Salute to Business Supporters will take place at Alamo Beer Company, Wednesday, March 7 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Alamo Beer Company owned by Eugene Simor was first brewed in the late '90s. The local brewery located at 415 Burnet is situated under the historic Hays Street Bridge and just a canon shot away from the Alamo, east of downtown. The present day brewery is San Antonio's largest independent brewery. We are excited to bring TPR's business members together to this uniquely San Antonio location! Parking will be available at 202 Lamar Street at the visitor's entrance.
Joining us is special guest, Marketplace's senior correspondent, Amy Scott. Amy covers the K-12 and higher education beats and files general business and economic stories for Marketplace programs and marketplace.org, drawing from her experience covering finance in New York.
This invitation-only event is our thank you party for both the for-profit and non-profit entities that support and partner with Texas Public Radio throughout the course of the year. Wear your name badge and mingle with fellow community minded business leaders while enjoying delicious eats by Spice of Life Catering and entertainment by DJ JJ Lopez, a San Antonio DJ specializing in Soul Music for more than 20 years. He is also the host of the popular show, Diggin Deep Soul Shakedown featured on KRTU91.7 FM.
