Choral Group Voci di Sorelle Brings Glad Tidings To San Antonio

Benissimo Music

Voci di Sorelle sings at UIW Chapel this Sunday!

Holiday music is a tradition for many different kinds of people, crossing race, faith and style lines. Sounds of the season vary with groups, but are also a tradition for many directors and ensembles.

"There is a lot of really good repertoire out there for this time of the year, and if it is not for women's voices, we make it that way!"

Voci di Sorelle is no different, having recorded a holiday release that plays on their strengths; a collection of Medieval and Renaissance music recorded at Mission San Jose a few years ago. Since then, the all female choral group has presented a concert of holiday selections. This year the program includes early and new music, and music from around the world.
