Area schools and licensed childcare centers can apply for education grants to benefit four-year-olds through the City of San Antonio and Pre-K 4 SA.
Grant applications are being accepted now through Dec. 18.
Grants can be used to improve curriculum, increase professional development opportunities, decrease class size or teacher/student ratios — practices that will increase the overall quality and effectiveness of pre-kindergarten programs.
Interested applicants can get more information and a schedule for pre-submittal conferences on the city’s website, sanantonio.gov, under under “Bidding and Contracting Opportunities.” Proposals are due by 11 a.m. on Dec. 18.
