Norris is an award-winning journalist and former NPR host and special correspondent. Norris attended the University of Wisconsin, where she majored in electrical engineering, and graduated from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, where she studied journalism.  The event takes place at Trinity University's Laurie Auditorium, and is sponsored by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation in partnership with Texas Public Radio's "Dare to Listen" campaign.

February 20, 8-8:50am: Communication Week at UTSA's Main Campus. TPR's President/CEO Joyce Slocum will present the Dare To Listen initiative to students on campus. Location TBA.
