Occasions like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and even New Year's Eve can be painful reminders for anyone missing their loved ones. What are some healthy ways to deal with loss on difficult days? Author Kathleen Fraser and Leslie Wood from Children's Bereavement Center of South Texas speak on "The Source" Tuesday at noon.

Grief doesn't take the holidays off. In fact, that's when it can be the hardest.

Annual celebrations are usually reserved for family and friends, and when a loved one is missing from the table, it can create a complex mix of emotions and affect personal relationships.

How can people process during what should be a happy time in life after a recent or sudden death in the family? Instead of a reminder of loss, can the holidays offer an opportunity to heal?
