National Public Lands Day: Olmos Basin Project on November 17

Oct 29, 2012

The Olmos Basin project, which was originally scheduled for September 29 and rained out has been rescheduled to November 17.

Join us at beautiful and shaded Olmos Basin Park as we celebrate National Public Lands Day. Volunteers are needed to help with creek clean up, mulch around newly planted trees and pick up litter. This is a great project for groups, families and individuals to come out and help make the park shine. Local Girl Scouts and the Friends of Olmos Basin Park will be on hand to present the rich history of the park and the importance of bats on the environment during the workday. Convenient parking is available in the park and across from the sports fields
