Northwest Vista College Earns Presidential recognition

Northwest Vista College

Northwest Vista College received the coveted recognition from the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program for outstanding performance in the areas of leadership and customer focus.

Northwest Vista College was the only educational institution in the country that received a site visit to be considered for the Baldrige Award this year.

Dr. Jackie Claunch, Northwest Vistapresident, said their customer focus is all about the students, and it starts with the people they hire.

"I always say, ‘When you walk onto to the North West Vista Campus, you’ll fall in love with it. And when you meet the people, you’ll love it even more,'" Claunch said.

The Baldrige Award is the nation’s highest Presidential honor for performance excellence. This was the first year the Baldrige process offered recognition in seven best practice categories.
