Opera Gala Premieres World Class Singers At The Majestic

The Opera San Antonio (TOSA) presents a "Gala Concert of Stars" at the Majestic Theater this Thursday, May 23 at 7 p.m. These stars include Patricia Racette, Jay Hunter Morris, DoloraZajick, Daniela Mack, AlekShrader, Lucas Meacham, and Eric Owens.

TOSA announced LisetteOropesa is replacing Susannah Biller, who was unavailable due to a schedule conflict.

KPAC's John Clare spoke to Texas tenor Jay Hunter Morris about the gala last week. Morris says he is looking forward to returning to his home state.

"I haven't sung there in seven years or so, since the Siegfried thing happened. So a lot of folks are going to come and hear me - I am looking forward to seeing friends and family there in San Antonio, and some traveling from Paris, Texas!"
