A San Antonio woman is facing a possible life in prison for her role in the sex trafficking of a 15-year-old girl.
20-year-old Amber Doak pled guilty to her role in prostituting the teenager last August, admitting to knowingly enticing and encouraging a minor into engaging in sexual acts for money.
The woman admitted to conspiring with two other defendants to take pictures of the girl for an online advertisement for prostitution. She admitted to fielding inquiries that came from the advertising and to traveling with her co-defendants in transporting the girl to multiple locations to engage in sex acts.
Doak faces 10 years to life in prison when she is sentenced this September. Her alleged co-conspirators, 38-year-old Marcus Deshawn Wright and 21-year-old Malcom Deandre Copeland, also of San Antonio, are set for an April trial in U.S. Chief District Judge Fred Biery’s court on charges of sex trafficking of children.
