Sounds Of Hollywood Making Stop In Boerne

Hollywood Concert Orchestra
Hollywood Concert Orchestra

A little bit of Hollywood is heading to Boerne on Saturday.  Who's coming is the Hollywood Concert Orchestra, and according to John Giattino, here's what they do:

"We do themes, Jack, that are either nominated for or have won the Academy Award for best music, for best score."

Giattino produces the program, featuring an orchestra of 32 and two vocalists who are coming here most recently from the Far East.

"Between Japan, China, Taiwan and South Korea. We've been very popular over there."

Now they're bringing their show to Boerne's Samuel Champion High School auditorium on Saturday, Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m, featuring songs of both Hollywood and Broadway.

"The singers add to it. They'll be singing two medleys in the first half and two medleys in the second half."

Hollywood Concert Orchestra is being brought there by Boerne Performing Arts, whose objective is to bring internationally acclaimed artists to perform in Boerne.
