The Source: Addressing A Coming Growth Explosion In San Antonio

1000 people a day move to Texas, and San Antonio is slated to double in size by 2040 as a result.

San Antonio will add 1 million residents by 2025, according to the city. How we deal with that growth could mean the difference between the city's footprint exploding or only growing slightly. Infill is one strategy the city wants to see happen, improving older infrastructure rather than having to create it further and further from the city center.
