Early Monday morning, Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced he would direct state officials to keep refugees from Syria out of the state. At the time he was one of only four governors attempting to bar refugees from the war-torn country. By the end of the day he was one of 15 Governors and by the following day, more than half of all U.S. Governors were asking the Feds to keep the as many as 10,000 refugees the Obama Administration says it will take.
After the Paris terror attacks that left 129 people dead last week, fears are high about the vetting process that goes on with refugees.
