The longest sitting governor in Texas history, Gov. Rick Perry, announced he will not run for office for a fourth time this afternoon. Southern Methodist University Professor and foremost Texas political expert Cal Jillson joins us to talk about what this means for Perry and other state house races.

Sarcastic remarks on Facebook have landed one New Braunfels teenager in jail. Indicted by a grand jury in April for the third-degree felony charge of making terroristic threats, Justin Carter, now 19 years old, is being held on $500,000 bail in the Comal County Jail.
The charge carries with it a two- to ten-year jail sentence if convicted. Carter's attorney, Donald Flanary III, joins us to talk about his client's case.
