The City Council of San Antonio passed the highly contested nondiscrimination ordinance in an 8-3 vote.  District 9 council member Elisa Chan, District 10 council member Carlton Soules, and District 2 council member Ivy Taylor voted no while the remaining council members and Mayor Julian Castro cast votes in the affirmative.  We check in with TPR city reporter Ryan Loyd to discuss the developments of the past few days including the vote and what comes next.
