Student Loans are spiraling out of control -- that's the headline -- but is it true?

Right now Americans carry nearly $1.4 Trillion in student loan debt. That number grows $2726 every second. These are big, scary numbers, but what do they actually mean?
 
We want to break this down and see what's being talked about to change how we pay for college.
