The Source: Texas Judge Issues Injunction Against Trans Guidelines

What a difference a Summer makes, or doesn't in this case.

At the end of the last school year the Obama Administration issued guidelines to every school district in the Country saying they needed to allow Transgender students to use the bathrooms of the gender they identify with.

Sunday, right before the first day of  school for many public schoolers around the country, a Texas Judge issued a nationwide injunction on that order saying that while a lawsuit is pending from several states including Texas, the guidelines shouldn't go into effect.

  • Ilona Turner, legal director at the Transgender Law Center
