The Source: What Lessons Are We Learning From Zika In Miami?

Erik F. Brandsborg / Flickr

The Zika virus - is a serious threat to the health and welfare of San Antonians and to those across South Texas.

It's already present in the mainland United States - Miami, Florida is Zika ground zero for the nation.
What lessons can we learn in San Antonio about South Beach's response?

If Zika does to San Antonio - what impact will it have on our local billion dollar tourism industry?
Can Zika become an epidemic in the U.S.?

Is San Antonio's health department doing all that it can do now - to detect - prevent and treat zika in the future.  How does the city's mosquito control program measure up? What is lacking?
