TPR Members Enjoy "Intimate Impressionism" At Pinnacle Reception

On Tuesday, December 2nd, 150 of Texas Public Radio’s Pinnacle-level Members attended an exclusive  gallery viewing of Intimate Impressionism from the National Gallery of Art at the McNay Art Museum. Intimate Impressionism is the most extensive exhibition of French impressionist and post-impressionist paintings to come to San Antonio. Kate Carey, Director of Education at the McNay, shared her insights into the exhibit with TPR members.

French-themed hors d’oeuvres created by Chef Jason Dady complemented the exhibit, and champagne and wine were provided by Claude Alexander of Alexander Vineyards. Floral arrangements by Creative Floral Designs by Helene elegantly decorated reception tables.

Listener donations support TPR's services, ensuring we can provide the very best in news and classical music on-air and online, all year long. Pinnacle Members generously donate $730 or more annually to assist in this goal.

Carin Lamontagne joined the Texas Public Radio team in October 2012. She graduated from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) in 1996 with a B.A. in history, and she also studied anthropology and vocal music performance.
