The award-winning radio series, Passport to Texas, is a ninety-second radio series focusing on outdoor recreation, state parks, wildlife/fisheries management and Texas' natural and cultural resources.  Listeners get information about hiking, camping, fishing and other popular outdoor activities, through interviews with biologists, park rangers, recreational specialists and other guests.

Joel Block, best known for StarDate and Earth and Sky, is the host of the weekly series.  Passport to Texas is produced by Cecilia Nasti.  She has been in broadcasting for over twenty-five years as a reporter, news director and producer.
