TPR Takes On: Fiesta

  • Hosted by Asia Ciarvino
  • Local Host Angela McClendon Johnson

For 10 days each April, the pace of life in San Antonio slows, as the community comes together for a “party with a purpose.”

That party is Fiesta San Antonio, which features parades, carnivals, food tastings, musical performances and family events organized by over 100 nonprofit organizations. But for the uninitiated, how do you sort through it all? That’s where this show comes in.

This program answers the questions about what to eat, drink, wear and do during Fiesta. Your hosts are Asia Ciarvino, local arts advocate, actress, and president and CEO of SA Youth, and Angela McClendon Johnson, a marketing and public relations professional and former Fiesta queen.

They might have been drinking wine while recording. But since this isn’t live radio, it’s all good.
