Hands On Events
Texas Public Radio’s Hands On series is co-sponsored by the Frost Financial Management and is open to members of Texas Public Radio and their children. The events are held quarterly and are built around a "hands on" learning experience on a specific topic. When possible, the presentation includes food and drink related to the theme of the presentation. Hands On events are announced on KPAC, KSTX and KTXI for at least two weeks. Members call the Texas Public Radio office (210-614-8977) during regular business hours to make reservations. A membership entitles the member admission for two adults to each event, plus children in the household. Attendance to the events is limited and reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
Members-Only Movie Screenings
Members of Texas Public Radio are often invited to members-only movie screenings of upcoming films. In recent months, members had the opportunity to preview movies such as Unaccompanied Minors, Letters From Iwo Jima, and Hurricane on the Bayou.
