Judge in Hasan Case Removed

UPDATE 12/4 at 5:45pm: Army Col. Tara Osborn has been appointed to replace Col. Gregory Gross as judge in the military trial of Maj. Nidal Hasan. He's charged with in the shooting rampage that left 13 people dead and dozens wounded at Fort Hood in November 2009. It's not clear when hearings will resume.

Another Instructor Faces Article 32 Hearing At Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland

Staff Sgt. Christopher Jackson faces four allegations of developing unprofessional relationships and having sexual relations with two trainees.

One of the two women testified in the Article 32 hearing at Lackland that she viewed Jackson as a good leader and friend, and that he helped her decide to remain in the military at a time when she wanted to quit. She said it was later that she pursued a relationship with him.

New High-Ranking NCO Named At Fort Sam Houston

Sgt. Major Hu Rhodes talks to reporters at the U.S. Army North Change of Responsibility ceremony.

On Wednesday, Command Sgt. Maj. Hu Rhodes was welcomed as the new high-ranking Non-commissioned Officer at Fort Sam.

"I joined the army from here," said Rhodes. "I graduated from McArthur High School in 1971 and this is still listed as my home of record."

Rhodes' most recent assignment was in Africa, where he served citizens in 54 countries.
