Tip-off for the opening round of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament is Thursday. And if you need some last minute inspiration for your bracket, there is a giant March Madness bracket set up outside the convention center in downtown San Antonio.

San Antonio officials made another attempt to negotiate a contract regarding health care and wages with the San Antonio Professional Firefighters Association Tuesday, but the union declined to appear. The union’s contract ran out in 2014, and its stalemate with the city has lasted for more than 1,200 days.

A 47-year-old man pleaded guilty for his involvement in the deaths of immigrants found in a trailer in a San Antonio Walmart parking lot last year.
