The last decade was a disaster in terms of American employment. The people that have suffered the most though are a group of people not often considered -- the nation's youth. Basic job skills, employment socialization and other skills are all having to be learned later in life because the ability for a young adult to get a job has fallen off a cliff.

15-Year-Old Canyon High School Student Dies Following Assault In Hallway

New Braunfels Police say the death of a Canyon High School student is the result of an assault, and not a fight.

Police were dispatched to the Comal ISD high school at 9:27 a.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, Cpt. John McDonald said officers found faculty and staff tending to the victim, identified as 15-year-old Logan Davidson.

McDonald said the suspect, another 15-year-old student, waited for Davidson outside their classroom after their first class of the day.

McDonald said the suspect used his fist to punch Davidson in the head twice, which rendered him unconscious.

Magik Theatre Group Gives At-Risk Teens A Place To Grow, Express Themselves

The Magik Theatre

A theater performance on Friday at the Magik Theatre is a little closer to real life drama than those on any other stage in town. That's because some of the young people on stage have been arrested for, as James Apollo Bradley says,  things like "truancy, and possession, vandalism and things of that nature that could lead to more serious crimes down the road."
