Required Qualifications
At least five or more years of relevant work experience including advertising, marketing and/or non-profit fund-raising is required.  Applicant must have a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Access software.  An involved interest in, or a working knowledge of, classical music and the performing arts is a must.  Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills are essential.  Time management and personal communication skills are very important for success in this position.
 
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field with at least 2 years related experience in advertising. Experience in Non-profit industry (or non-commercial radio or TV industry a plus).

Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating and securing new corporate sponsorship contracts while nurturing existing relationships.    

Essential Duties
This position will be responsible for securing corporate sponsorship contracts by identifying and contacting prospective business accounts.  The position will maintain current contracts in addition to nurturing existing relationships.
