Texas Public Radio's "The Source" is hosting a series of forums with candidates leading up to the 2018 midterm elections. Early voting for the 2018 primary elections starts next week on Feb. 20. Primary Election Day is March 6.
Now 82, Elizondo is seeking his tenth and final term, and must first face two challengers in the Democratic primary – Mario Bravo and Queta Rodriguez – in order to move on to the general election against a Republican opponent.
Rodriguez, a retired Captain of the Marine Corps, comes from a family of public servants and sits on various local advisory boards.
What can both San Antonio natives offer the community? What are the big issues in Precinct 2? What issues should be on the forefront for leadership in Bexar County?
- Paul Elizondo (D), incumbent and candidate for Bexar County Precinct 2
- Mario Bravo (D), candidate for Bexar County Precinct 2
- Queta Rodriguez (D), candidate for Bexar County Precinct 2
