First Presbyterian Church

Concert series begins Thursday December 6th at 12:00 p.m.

For over 30 years, First Presbyterian Church has offered lunchtime concerts downtown, and on three consecutive Thursdays this year, their tradition continues.

"We think of it as a gift to San Antonio, and especially for those downtown who are working, to take a break and enjoy some wonderful music. It is open to the public, and are geared to only be 30 to 45 minute programs - ideal to spend over your lunch hour!" says Tom Dooling, director of music at First Presbyterian Church. "We also offer lunch options, a bag lunch if you are on the go, or if you have some time, a full, hot lunch option is available as well. We encourage you to meet the musicians at this time, it really is a great time of year!"

Thursday, December 6th features organist Dr. Jae Ha in classical and holiday selections. "You'll recognize 'Ride of the Valkyries' but you really should come and see 'Flight of the Bumblebee' for pedals!"

December 13th has Jeff Johnson and friends in Celtic Christmas, and December 20th welcomes the First Presbyterian Church Chamber Singers.
