An estimated 14 percent of the San Antonio population lives with a disability, according to census data from 2011-2015

From medical care to employment to transportation, people with disabilities encounter barriers every day.

Small changes can mean big improvements to the lives of individuals living with disabilities and their loved ones. 

Several San Antonio organizations are now working to change perceptions and create solutions by providing more opportunities for the community to learn about physical and developmental disabilities.
