Silver Solutions 2015 Senior Resource Fair
Texas Public Radio's "Silver Solutions" is a free event spotlighting programs and services provided by institutions that support San Antonio seniors and their caregivers. This year's event will take place on Monday, May 18 from 10am-2pm at the Barshop Jewish Community Center.
Silver Solutions is a free resource fair for seniors and their caregivers and families.
For the fifth consecutive year, we will present a resource fair that helps seniors gather information pertaining to their health, their living resources, their faculties, their passions and their independence. As members of our associated organizations, as children of seniors, we want to help elders in our community age in place and live life to its fullest. Also, those of us who are working with our family members to help them research their options are seeing the need to put a plan together for ourselves.
Silver Solutions will spotlight programs and services provided by institutions supporting seniors and caregivers in San Antonio. It will also serve as the conduit for private consultations with a variety of experts on topics related to aging, caring for elders and elder health. In addition, senior-friendly pets will be available for adoption.
Silver Solutions takes place Monday, May 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Barshop Jewish Community Center at 12500 Northwest Military Highway. Both the event and convenient parking are free. Volunteer Opportunities are available for this event. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
