Silver Solutions Senior Resource Fair

Texas Public Radio's "Silver Solutions" is a free event spotlighting programs and services provided by institutions that support San Antonio seniors and their caregivers. This year's event took place on Saturday, May 3. You can read about it at this link. Watch this space for details on next year's event.

Texas Public Radio, in partnership with UT Medicine, AACOG's Alamo Service Connection and the Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies, presents Silver Solutions, a free resource fair for seniors and their caregivers and families.

For the fourth consecutive year, we will present a resource fair that helps seniors gather information pertaining to their health, their living resources, their faculties, their passions and their independence. As members of our associated organizations, as children of seniors, we want to help elders in our community age in place and live life to its fullest.  Also, those of us who are working with our family members to help them research their options are seeing the need to put a plan together for ourselves.

Silver Solutions 2013 welcomed over 500 attendees and participants.  Silver Solutions 2014 will spotlight programs and services provided by institutions supporting seniors and caregivers in San Antonio. It will also serve as the conduit for private consultations with a variety of experts on topics related to aging, caring for elders and elder health.

Silver Solutions takes place Saturday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Medical Arts and Research Center at 8300 Floyd Curl Drive. Both the event and convenient covered parking are free.   MAP
