Graffiti costs Americans $8 billion a year. The city of San Antonio estimates the cost at over $1 million  and is considering beefing up the ordinance.  

Michael Shannon with the city's graffiti abatement program joins us along with Deputy Janae Florance of the San Antonio Police Department to talk about what the city is doing to clean up this blight.

From the AT&T Center to the Eastside Promise Grant, the Eastside has seen a lot of highly public investment the past 15 years.  Have we seen the kinds of improvements we had thought we would see?  

District 2 Councilwoman Ivy Taylor joins us along with members of the community to discuss what progress has been made and where we can go from here.
