The Source: With Zika In San Antonio, What Should We Know?

The World Health Organization has declared Zika and its suspected link to birth defects a global health emergency. More than 20 countries in Latin America have reported an outbreak and a rare case of the Zika virus being transmitted through sex has been reported here in Texas.

 
As the world learns about the virus - many are wondering - what is it? What precautions should I take? What does this mean for my travel plans? Should I fear a common mosquito bite?
